My first job

Nov 2017 I joined my first job at IIT Bombay. Professor was completely from different background and I was hired as an IoT / Embedded engineer. Since my master's from Russia is in Electronics.

I hated microcontrollers but still, I took up the job. In my entire education (Mechatronics), I can manage all other spheres like manufacturing, automation, or even digital electronics.

22 Nov 2022 is my first day of joining (I never forget that day). Professor (she) looked at me continuously like I was an Allien in front of her entire team/group meeting.

Professor is also unique, she never let her emotions know. Nothing can't be read on her face. Even if you say " I have become President of India" her reaction would be "Okay, congratulations" that's all, nothing more.

I am the one who should find out the sources for procuring and fabricating and testing etc. etc. (Just on my own). I loved doing that. To be mentioned she will give you 100% freedom.

She delegated only the problem statement " I have to transfer data from sensors to Mobile app" and nothing more(not even a single word). I still positively take that, though I learned many things there(blunter mistakes could be avoided with mentoring)

Note: Unknowingly/knowingly she is the one who thought many things in life. I am not sure she is aware of this.

Okay coming back, first week, I found a board called " Red Bear Duo".After they completed the task and you know what?

After 2 weeks/10 days, I met her again. Snatched her phone, installed (open-source) IoT platform, and should her sensor data in her mobile. As I said before, I never understood her reactions/impressions, as there would be no facial reactions.

Anyways, that led me to get my first salary and it was a kind of employment assurance to me.

Now, I did a PG diploma in embedded.

Not an expert in programming microcontrollers but far better than before. Need to gain real-life experiences.

Bottom line: If you hate/fear something. Just be bold and face it. It will run away or at least be sorted. No matter whether it might be a career, life, relationships, etc.
